Truth be told, most people I talk to don’t begin their story by telling it like it really is. They share a professionally filtered, whitewashed version of who they are and what they do.

Hello! My name is Dayna Leah Rhode
I’m a creative marketing freelancer based in Northwest Indiana.
I consider this the modest offering, but before I give you more, I’d first like to welcome you to DayLeahDrafts.com.
What is DayLeahDrafts?
To get one thing out of the way, DayLeahDrafts is not a company. I am a sole proprietor offering freelance work under my legal name.
Originally, I had intended for this site to be a blog about my life in drafts and the daily revisions required to change life for the better. But as it turns out, changing for the “better” is rather subjective.
About Me
To me, “better” bears fruit — producing substance, truth, and growth in the spiritual sense. To others, “better” may mean easier, faster, stronger, or simply more for less.
So, in business, I want to be distinct by choosing not to simply write and edit. I want to offer supportive redirection just as God has offered me.
I’m here to help startups of community-focused businesses rewrite their marketing plan to support their life’s work.
Creative marketing, when done fruitfully, produces worthwhile content that serves both the business and its community.

Why Creative Marketing?
The Fruitful Approach & Core Principles
Even in marketing, there’s a fruitful way to go about the work of generating leads, increasing sales, and gaining exposure.
But let’s not start with that in mind.
I believe marketing should first….
- Help people find real solutions to real problems.
- Empower customers to make decisions in their best interest.
- Center on the customer more than the company.
- All while staying grounded in your vision, mission, and values.
So where does creative marketing come in?
Creative marketing is my preferred method of communicating on behalf of small businesses. It is a type of marketing that finds artful ways to communicate, often by leveraging the art of storytelling. Sometimes these stories are crafted with words. Other times visuals stand on their own, speaking volumes without saying much at all.
Regardless of how the words or visuals are used, the presentation is always intentional, distinctive, and emotionally resonant.

Makeover Your Marketing
