heART journal inspiration
Upon waking up the other day, one last visual appeared in my dream time. I saw an oven with the word “SE:ED” in the digital time clock.
This oven dream could symbolically represent any number of things, but it sure did inspire a lot of questions! Below I have shared some art and journaling prompts as an invitation from my dream space to join me if you’d like.
Oh, would you look at the time! How fun to begin a new lunar cycle on the 1st of the month!
New moons are very practical reminders for us to dedicate time in self-reflection and intention setting. Through this process of setting goals and manifesting desires, we plant the seeds of our future experiences.
My dream felt like a nudge to not give up on the preparatory work. I know what I wanted to make. I identified the ingredients it will take. I’ve prepped myself to be ready. Now is the time to put it all together.
Let’s play with this kitchen theme and see what’s cooking. Grab your heART journal.
Art Prompt:
Reflect on past goals, desires, and intentions from the last year or two. Draw a kitchen cabinet full of previously planted intentions.
Did you want to make more time for family? Change careers? Meet new people? Try a new activity? Eat fresher foods? Get organized? Be calmer? …
Find a spot in your art journal and put them all in there.
As you create, reflect on the following:
- How heart-centered were these intentions? Do they feel aligned with who you truly are, or do these desires reflect what you think you should have based on what other people have/need?
- Take a moment to listen to your heart’s desires. Are there other experiences desiring to be included in your future? Add them to your journal.
- Does anything intuitively feel ready to make right now? If so, make a plan to act on it. If not, describe the energy your seeds carry and journal about what you might need to balance in order to support and nurture this energy within yourself.
