Creative Virtual Suport FAQ

Can you explain how your service plans work?My service plans are structured for clients to receive up to 36 hours of creative virtual support per month based on their needs.

Bi-weekly plan begins on either the 1st or 15th of each month and include 6 hours of creative support over a 2-week period.

Monthly plans always begin on the 1st of each month. Current plans are for 24 hours or 36 hours of support per month.

For example: If today was the 10th day of the month, a monthly plan service would not start until the 1st. Some new clients will wait until the 1st, others opt to add a bi-weekly plan to get us started on the 15th.

All monthly plans need to be purchased and paid for in advance. Because I am introducing a new sliding scale rate for my Biweekly Plan, you will be invoiced at the end of the service period. 

Let me know if you're interested in text or email reminders so that you don't miss a plan's start deadline. All creative support plans do not auto renew.
Please explain your new sliding scale rate.At this time, only my freelance writing, editing, and design services, along with the 6-Hour Creative Support Plan, are available on a sliding scale. I'm inviting you to pay the rate which is both respectful of my work and sustainable for your current financial situation. I believe by operating by this model of business exchange, it will open doors that may otherwise be closed.

Supporter Rate – helps sustain this model and supports access for others
Sustainer Rate – covers fair wages and business expenses
Supported Rate – for those who wouldn’t otherwise have access

Because my business is still new, and because I believe in prioritizing systems of support and generosity, all ranges have been deemed fair and appropriate. You are free to compensate me as you wish, after the work or service period is complete.

Important Note: Freelance services on the sliding scale are for non-urgent work only. Project turnaround time may be three weeks or more.
What kinds of services are included in the hours I purchase?Your hours can be used for consultative support or creative work such as marketing design, copywriting, copyediting, social media content creation, email marketing, website updates, video editing, and other related creative or administrative tasks. If you have something specific in mind, just ask-- I'll let you know if it fits within my abilities.
How do I track progress and communicate?I'm happy to use your preferred method of communication to track tasks and hours. You'll receive regular updates, and you're always welcome to message me with questions or revisions.

I encourage clients to freely deligate tasks to me via email or WhatsApp, but I'm also happy to schedule calls if that is what you prefer. Monthly plan clients have the option of using Trello or Asana.

For clients outside of my region, I am on Chicago time (CST).
Do unused hours roll over? What happens if I need more hours than my plan includes?Unused hours do not roll over. Each plan is designed around consistent, focused support within your chosen time frame.

If you end up needing more hours than planned, you have the option of approving additional hours at my hourly rate of $33/hour. Subject to availability.
Can I switch between plans?These plans do not auto-renew every month. When it comes time to purchase a plan, you are welcome to choose a different plan that best supports your needs to begin the next month. Plans can not be changed mid-month.
Is there a contract or commitment required?Plans are either month-to-month or bi-weekly. A simple service agreement will outline expectations.
What if I need a quick project done, but don't want a full package?I offer one-time project pricing for clients who don't need ongoing support. Contact me with your request and I'll quote based on my hourly rate of $33/hour.

Step 3: Select a Plan

Prepayment is required to reserve services for the upcoming month. By clicking the links below, you will be taken to Stripe to process payment. Please make sure you've agreed to the terms of agreement and provided the proper contact information for me to reach out to you. Please allow 1 business day from receipt of your payment confirmation.

Bi-Weekly plan only:

  • The Bi-Weekly plan covers 6 hours over a two week period. For new clients, our inital discovery call is complementary.
  • Signups completed between the 1st- 14th of the month, your service hours begin on the 15th. 
  • Signups completed between the 15th-31st of the month will begin on the 1st.
  • You will be invoiced on a sliding scale rate at the end of the pay period. Invoice due upon receipt.

Monthly plans:

  • Monthly plans are available by request. The link in the menu below will invite you to open a chat with WhatsApp where I can personally walk you through options and availability. If you prefer, you may email me instead.
  • Availability: My schedule allows up to two 36-hour Plan clients and two or three 24-hour Plan clients each month. 
  • For retainers placed between the 2nd-31st of the month, your service hours begin on the 1st.
  • For new clients who would like to begin prior to the first, you can add a Bi-Weekly Lite plan of 6 hours to begin on the 15th.
  • Full payment discount: Clients who pay in full prior to the 1st of the month will receive a $108 discount for the Monthly Plus Plan, or a $72 discount for the Monthly Plan! Otherwise, a 50% retainer of the regular plan price is required prior to the 1st of the month. The remaining 50% will be invoiced at the end of the service period and due upon receipt. 
6H Bi-Weekly Lite Plan w/ Pay in Full Discount $150
Creative virtual assistance totaling 6 hours/ bi-weekly to begin on the 1st or 15th of the month. $150 is the suggested "Sustainer Rate" on a sliding scale offering. You will receive an invoice to contribute what you can at the end of the service period.
24H Monthly Plan w/ Pay in Full Discount $600 $528
